"This is the Gaugers trolley car. After the dam was build a person would transport themselves across the river to get to a gauging station to measure 'stuff'. It was at least 50' above the water."

"That hilarious Bill. Would it surprise you that Pamela convinced Ryon to take here stuff down river so she wouldn't have to carry it up hill to where I picked her and Tom up. They backpacked in as did not have kayaks."
