The Davis Camping Meetup

I noticed that there were 124 people waiting for someone to start a camping group in the Davis area, so I figured I'd start it up. Let's go camping! Car camping, backpacking, camping near, camping far, bicycle touring, motorcycle camping, boating and camping, fishing and camping, canoe camping, gourmet camping, survivalist camping, summer camping, winter camping, desert camping, beach camping, wine-tasting camping (I just made that one up), ... hell, let's pitch a tent in the back yard! If you like sleeping under the stars, sharing stories by the campfire, and doing whatever makes you happy during the day, then this is the group for you.

WHAT: One or two fantastic days of floating down the beautiful Russian
River in a canoe. What could be better? We drift, we paddle, we wallow
and float our way down the river 11 miles each day, which allows for
plenty of time for swim'n, splash'n, soak'n, swiggin, & rope swing'n.
WHERE: On the Russian River in Alexander Valley just north of
